CEO Strong Roots

Sam Dennigan is the founder and CEO of Strong Roots, an Irish-based plant-based frozen food brand with more than $18 million in funding to date. Founded in 2015, Strong Roots has seen rapid growth in the UK and US markets and secured funding from private equity backers Goode Partners (who also led investment rounds in Supreme, AllSaints and Nomad). Sam boasts decades of experience in the food business, having grown up working for his family's fruit and vegetable distribution company before founding Strong Roots. Dennigan was a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2017. He lives in New York City.
